In recent Spanish news, the extremist fascist party Vox has made headlines for being voted in to Spain’s multi-party system. The group Vox is notorious for following neo-nazi political practices and retakes Spanish citizens back to the days of a dictatorship under Franco.
According to popular Catalan newspaper, La Guardia, it was breaking news that the senator of Vox by Cuenta, Juan Ros Alcaide, has been denounced by the Civil Guard for an alledged case of sexist violence. In addition, it is said the senator acknowledged that he had assaulted this women.
It is very surprising to me to think that with the history of Spain’s dictatorship, Vox would even be a considerable political party. With this allegation, I wonder if this will negatively impact the Vox party as an entirety.
